Where To Eat In Nagasaki?

Where To Eat In Nagasaki?

Are you a newcomer in Nagasaki or have just arrived at Nagasaki Station? Are you wondering where to eat in Nagasaki?

You have probably just arrived at Nagasaki Station from Tokyo or somewhere. Now you are tremendously hungry.

So, you need restaurants to eat. New place, you do not have very much practical experience with the restaurants here.

How can you find out?

You want better restaurants. If possible, you want to try some kinds of famous Nagasaki food, which are called Nagasaki Specialities.

I have better information for you because I faced the same problem when I came to Nagasaki for the first time.

I am sure that after following my recommendation, you will even be able to advise others on where to eat in Nagasaki.

Location:

If you are at Nagasaki Bus Station, look at the back of the station. You will see AMUPLAZA.

Now, keep walking, keeping AMUPLAZA on your right. When AMUPLA is finished, look at the back of the AMUPLAZA, and you will see JR Hotel.

You will see “JR” letters in English mixed with Japanese. Keep moving toward it, and you will find the AMU Plaza Nagasaki Main Building.

Nagasaki Chinese Restaurant Shiruri is on the 5th floor of the AMU Plaza Nagasaki Main Building. That is it. Enter there and take the left lift to the 5th floor.

You will find AMU RESTAURANTS when you come out of the lift. There are many restaurants there, including American, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, and European.

But my recommendation is SHIRURI.

Can you guess why I recommend?

Why SHIRURI?

Among the many options, my personal favorite is SHIRURI. It is not just a restaurant but a part of my Nagasaki experience that I’m excited to share with you.

What is the specialty of this SHIRURI Restaurant?

The answer is simple. It has Nagasaki Specialties.

Needless to say, the restaurant itself is Nagasaki Specialty. Now you can probably guess the reason behind my recommendation of where to eat in Nagasaki.

I strongly recommend you try Nagasaki Champon and
Sara udon (thin noodles).

The standout dish for me is the Nagasaki Champon, a delightful seafood and vegetable medley with noodles that I prefer over Sara udon.

Of course, you can order side dishes as you like. The restaurant has several kinds of side dishes, such as dumplings, baked xiaolongbao, etc.

Opening hours: 11:00-22:00 (every day)

Options:

If you do not mind about specialty, you can try Food Court on the ground floor of the same building. Do not turn left for a lift; go straight to the Food Court.

Of course, this Food Court is also good; you will find many local menus here.

I hope my post could answer your question about “Where to eat in Nagasaki?” Enjoy your Nagasaki tour.
