Famous Festival:
The Kameido Tenjin Shrine Wisteria Festival is one of the two most famous wisteria festivals in Tokyo’s 23 Special Wards. It is also known as Kameido Fuji Festival.
Thousands of tourists visit the venue every day during the wisteria festival. Moreover, it is attracting more tourists than in other years this year.
The beautiful Wisteria flowers start blooming around mid-April in Tokyo.
Thousands of lavender-colored wisteria flower bunches hang from trellises and display lovely sceneries at the banks of the shrine’s ponds and bridges.
A quiet pond is under the wisteria trellises. The lovely purple wisteria flowers make a fantastic reflection on the water’s surface.
However, among the several wisterias, Kameido Tenjin Shrine Wisterias and Nishiarai Daishi Temple Wisterias are the best.
These two sites of wisterias feature various colors of wisteria flowers, making the shrine busy with the tourist’s footsteps.
Moreover, visiting the wisteria spring festival is great fun.
Food stalls:
Several stalls are set up around the wisteria garden inside the shrine’s wall. The stalls include fish grills, potato fries, noodles, and kids’ toys.
At the same time, the Kameido Tenjin Shrine Wisteria Festivalis one of the traditional flower festivals, which is why it does not discourage adults who love some Japanese sake.
On the other hand, some cold beers are also available at the venue.
Besides beautiful purple wisteria flowers, the ponds of the shrine are full of cute turtles, Koi fishes, and wild birds.
Needless to say that visitors are pleased to see the venue.
