Introduction and location:

According to legend, a mother who was not able to feed her child enough breast milk. She did not know what to do. So she boiled the bark of the tree and drank it.
Finally, she fed her child and put a votive on the tree as gratitude. Mothers come here and put votives on the tree from that day, hoping for their children’s promising future.
Besides, Suwa Shrine and Jokanji Temple are also famous in the Arakawa area.
A famous festival in the Arakawa ward is the Tenno-sai festival, held in June at this Shrine.
