Introduction and location:

Arakawa ward is one of the 23 wards of Tokyo, located in central Tokyo. The neighborhood is known as Arakawa City. It is also familiar to the foreigner as Arakawa Tokyo that has numerous tourist spots.

Area:10.16 km2

Finally, she fed her child and put a votive on the tree as gratitude. Mothers come here and put votives on the tree from that day, hoping for their children’s promising future.

Besides, Suwa Shrine and Jokanji Temple are also famous in the Arakawa area.

A famous festival in the Arakawa ward is the Tenno-sai festival, held in June at this Shrine.
