Sarue Onshi Park is located in Koto Ward,Tokyo. It is not far from Kinshicho, even though the park is officially in Koto Ward.
The Sarue Park is one of the best parks to enjoy seasonal flowers for locals.
It is only a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho. But the nearest station is Sumiyoshi Station, from where only 2 minutes walk from Exit A3.

The park was open on April 29, 1952.
Before, it was a place of a lumberyard. As of April 1, 2022, the park’s land is 145,088.43 Square meters(as of April 1, 2022).
Sarue Onshi Parkhas many facilities for kids and adults. It has a Baseball field, Tennis court, Mini Kikura playset, Jabjabu, and pond.
There are 5,544 trees and 52,020 plants bushes, including Ginkgo, Yoshino Cherry tree, Metasequoia, Bald Cypress, Plane tree, Tulip, and other flowers.
However, almost half of the trees are Cherry trees (200), which attract thousands of visitors during Cherry Blossom(Late March-April first week).
Tokyo Skytree looks fantastic from the Clock Tower, and very few visitors can abstain from taking Skytree from here during Cherry flower season.
In addition, next to Clock Tower, beautiful tulips start blooming in April’s first week.
Several kinds of flowers bloom every season in the park. Local people love walking, running, and jogging here.
Besides, it is also a good place for a picnic.

The best time of visiting is spring( March-May) and autumn. Cherry and other flowers bloom in spring.
But, on the other hand, leaves change colors in autumn(September-November), making the park fantastic.
